Former Tennessee pitcher and Maryville High School graduate Caylan Arnold has found a new home for her final year of college softball.
Florida State on Saturday night announced that Arnold will finish her career at the Tallahassee, Florida, school.
The Seminoles have been to the Women’s College World Series two of the last four years and won the NCAA title in 2018. Florida State is 223-40 in the last four seasons.
Arnold played her first three years with the Vols before deciding to transfer. That news came seven days ago.
In three seasons with Tennessee, Arnold compiled a 2.15 ERA with a record of 57-23. She threw 22 complete games, including six shutouts. In 475 2/3 innings pitched she struck out 473 and walked 169.
