A Madisonville-area man with a long history of arrests in Monroe County was arrested again by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.
Narcotics Agent Dalton Rinehart said he and other officers went to the Thompson Road home of Jacady Dwight Terry and found him sitting in the driver’s seat of his truck.
Rinehart said they told Terry to get out of the truck and get on the ground, but Terry refused and pulled away from Officer Cory Fritts. Fritts then used his Taser on Terry, but Terry kept resisting until he was taken down and handcuffed by force. Officers then went into the house to search. In a bedroom, they found a baggie with suspected meth and marijuana in it and digital scales.
Rinehart said Terry had several $20 bills on him, some of which were marked as having come from the Monroe County Drug Fund. A syringe was also found on Terry, Rinehart said. Terry, 37, was charged with possession of 12 grams of meth, simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
