Davy N. “Crock” Armour, of Sweetwater, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019. He was a member of Glenlock Baptist Church, of Sweetwater. Crock was a well-known livestock farmer in Monroe, McMinn and Meigs counties.

He was 63 years old.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, George and Nettie Mae Armour; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Inman and Gracie Moss; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Valeria Armour, Clayteen and Ann Moss, Carolyn Moss Godsey.

Survivors include: his wife of 44 years, Diane Moss Armour, of Sweetwater;

Daughter and son-in-law: Annette and Chuck Liner, of Athens;

Grandchildren, Jason and Hailey Melton, of Sweetwater;

Brothers and sister-in-law, Charles Armour, Eddie and Charlotte Armour, all of Meigs County;

Brother-in-law: David Moss, of Sweetwater;

Several nieces and nephews;

Many special friends and farming colleagues.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kyker Funeral Homes in Sweetwater. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Steve Oneal, Rev. Bill Coppenger and Rev. Caggie Scruggs officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, in the Sweetwater Memorial Park.
