While the search for a missing Madisonville girl has come to an end, as of press time on Friday, the Sweetwater Police Department was searching for 15-year-old Anneka Carver, who had been reported missing since Tuesday.

Her father, Charlie Carver, reported his daughter left his house on the evening of Jan. 29 and was seen getting into a dark-colored Audi that had dark-colored tinted windows.

Sweetwater Police Chief Eddie Byrum said SPD is working with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) on the case and has good leads in the search for Anneka Carver. He said SPD always takes missing children cases very seriously and the safety of the juveniles is top priority.

“We have been working hard,” he said. “We believe she is in the surrounding area.”

If anyone has any information about the missing girl, please call the Sweetwater Police Department at 423-337-6151 or the father at 423-404-5190.
