A man was arrested Nov. 21 after he allegedly pulled a gun on a school bus driver while children were on the bus.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputy Conway Mason said bus number 43 was dropping a child off at a home on Pleasant Hill Road when the parents of one of the children got into a verbal altercation with the bus driver.

Mason said he was told one of the parents told the other one to get in the house and get a gun, the parent allegedly did, and then Austin Craig Henry allegedly took the gun and used it in a threatening manner toward the driver, the children on board and the bus.

Mason said Henry was positively identified and Mason arrested him.

Henry, 25, was charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
