Monroe County Criminal Court finally wrapped up a two-week long September session in which several guilty pleas were heard and many indictments, including those arrested in a drug round up, were handed out. The rest of the indictments will run in a future issue.

Guilty pleas heard included:

Charles Boyd Plemons, 44, Big Sandy Road, Philadelphia, simple possession of marijuana, $250, 11/29 suspended; introduction of drugs into a penal facility, three years suspended; habitual motor vehicle offender violation, two years suspended; driving on a revoked license, no headlights during inclement weather, dismissed.

Justin Lamar Nelson, 31, Spring Place Road, Cleveland, theft over $500, two years suspended; felony evading, two years suspended; driving on a revoked license, six months suspended; simple possession of a schedule II narcotic, $750, 11/29 suspended; aggravated child abuse, possession of meth for resale, dismissed.

James Thomas Inman, 32, Patton Street, Sweetwater, theft of property $500-$1,000, four years suspended; evading arrest, 11/29 suspended.

Charles Anthony Davis, 34, Ball Play Road, Madisonville, habitual motor vehicle offender violation, one year at 30 percent; registration violation, 30 days; insurance violation, $10, 30 days; driving on a revoked license fifth offense, improper use of registration, driving without a driver’s license, dismissed.

Gaius Moore, 24, Browder Street, Sweetwater, three counts theft of property $1,000-$10,000, five years at 35 percent on first two counts, six years at 35 percent third count.

Jordan Andrew Hayes, 32, County Road 331, Sweetwater, DUI, $350, 11/29 suspended after 48 hours; simple possession of a schedule IV narcotic, $750, 11/29 suspended; possession of drug paraphernalia, implied consent violation, dismissed.

Adam Wayne Berry, sell/delivery of meth less than .5 grams, eight years suspended after six months; driving on a suspended license, dismissed.

Robert Earl North, 46. Address unavailable, TennCare fraud, two years at 30 percent.

Christopher Eugene Rider, 20, Chestua Church Road, Madisonville, two counts theft of property, 11/29 suspended each count; burglary, dismissed.

Gerald Hayden Millsaps, Beaty’s Chapel Road, Tellico Plains, aggravated burglary, three years suspended; aggravated assault (fear of injury by weapon), three years suspended; felony evading arrest, two years suspended; possession of drug paraphernalia, $150; driving on a revoked license, $65, six months suspended.

 Jason Edward Detrick, 35, initiating the process to manufacture meth, $2,000, eight years suspended.

Samantha Magdeline Shaw, 23, Wiggins Road, Tellico Plains, simple possession of Oxycodone, $750, 11/29 suspended.

Steve Edward Givens, 33, Highway 11 South, Athens, evading arrest, three years at 30 percent; reckless endangerment, dismissed.

Donna Kathleen Tallent, 59, North Point Road, Sweetwater, resisting arrest/obstruction of process, six months suspended; filing a false report, dismissed.

Travas Jeremy Moser, 33, Toomey Lane, Madisonville, possession of meth, $750, 11/29 suspended.

Dan F. Bett Jr., 62, Highway 411 South, Madisonville, theft of property $1,000-$10,000, two years suspended.
