Free spay/neuter vouchers

MCFA Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) will issue free spay/neuter vouchers to low-income Monroe County residents on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 10-11 a.m. at the Cora Veal Senior Center, located at 144 College St. in Madisonville. Free spay/neuter vouchers can be used for dogs and cats by any Monroe County resident. Pet owners can receive multiple vouchers to “fix” all their pets. Volunteer meeting

Anyone interested in volunteering with the Monroe County Health Council is invited to attend a meeting on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Health Council’s office, located at 615 Warren St. in Madisonville, to learn more and begin the process. Title VI training will be provided, along with an overview of Health Council programs and volunteer opportunities.

Produce, bakery giveaway

The Food Pantry and Thrift Store of Tellico Plains will give away free produce and bakery items on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon at the gazebo in downtown Tellico Plains.

Support group
