Linda (Wagner) Stingle Knox, age 70, of Sweetwater, was peacefully ushered into the presence of her heavenly Father on Thursday morning, Dec. 26, 2019, at her home with her family and former husband of 36 years by her side.
Linda always felt God had plans for her life. She loved children and felt a calling to be a foster parent to several kids in need. As a foster parent, Linda strived to teach responsibility, self-worth and, most importantly, the basic life lessons. Linda was a motorcycle enthusiast; she enjoyed traveling around visiting family and friends. During her travels, she fell in love with East Tennessee and found herself settling into life here. Linda loved country living and hobby farming.
She had an entrepreneurial spirit. Along with other businesses she involved herself with, Linda started the group “Preppers of East Tennessee,” an organization to learn and share information with others in the community to be more prepared in whatever curves life can throw.
Linda was a loving and compassionate person and she will always be remembered for her strong spirit and her devotion to her children.
