Mildred Joan Plemons

Mildred Joan Plemons of Sweetwater, passed away Thursday morning, June 26, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.

She was 73.

Preceded in death by: parents, Elmo and Bertha Cagle; sister, Ellen Cagle; and brother, Charles Cagle.

Survivors include:husband of 53 years-Houston Plemons;

Son-Lester Kent Plemons, both of Sweetwater;

Sister-Mary Tallent of Knoxville;

Two aunts, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, June 28. Graveside and interment will be 2 p.m., Sunday, in the Sweetwater Valley Memorial Park, with Rev. Gale Miller officiating. Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements.
