Theresa Thomas Stafford

Theresa Thomas Stafford of Sweetwater, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20. She was a member of Beulah Chapel Church and was a retired school teacher during the last 30 years in Loudon, Hamilton and Knox County School Systems.

She was 69.

Preceded in death by: parents, Lester and Lelia Thomas.

Survivors include: husband of 17 years-James H. Stafford of Sweetwater;

Sisters and brothers-in-law-Frieda T. (Brown) and Claude Evans of Sweetwater; and Brenda and Garland Lee of Sweetwater;

Brothers and sister-in-laws-Jerry and Debbie Thomas of Sweetwater and Larry and Pat Thomas of Sweetwater;

Niece-Kim Fray;

Nephews-Gerald, Matt and Luke Thomas.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, with funeral service to follow  in Kyker's Chapel with the Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. The family and friends will meet at Beulah Chapel in Niota for a 2 p.m., interment on Sunday. Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements.
