Sammy Charles Turner Sr.

Sammy Charles Turner Sr. of Madisonville, passed away at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Select Specialty Hospital. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

He was 55.

Preceded in death by: father, James Samuel Turner.

Survivors include: wife-Charlotte Turner;

Sons-Sammy Turner Jr. and Jamie Turner;

Grandson-Elijah Turner and his mother, Leslie Anderson;

Mother-Edna Turner;

Sister and brother-in-law-Caroline and Larry Thomas;

Very special aunt-Barbara Gregory, all of Madisonville;

Nephews-Chris Thomas of Orlando, Fla.; and Chad Thomas and wife, Jill of Cookeville;

Mother-in-law-Robbie Coleman of Madisonville;

Several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Saturday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Hicks officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m., Sunday, in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., before the funeral. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
