Birdie A. Hicks Orr of Madisonville, passed away at 7:20 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, at NHC Health Care in Athens. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She was 90.

Preceded in death by: husband, Arnold Orr.

Survivors include: daughter-Shelby J. Tallent of Madisonville;

Son and daughter-in-law-Jerry R. and Barbara Orr of Oak Ridge;

Six grandchildren;

Nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral and interment was private. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
