Betty Sue Black, of Madisonville, passed away at 11:40 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019, at Madisonville Health and Rehab Center. She was a member of Good Friend Baptist Church, and retired from Madisonville Health and Rehab Center.

She was 81 years old.

Preceded in death by: her parents, Fletcher and Kate McGhee Black; siblings, Lorene Long, Blanche Black, Margaret Dyer, Helen Siler, Lillian Walker, Nellie Upton, Fred and Bill Black; special niece, Wanda Blair; special nephew, Barry Dyer.

Survivors include: her sons and daughter-in-law, Mikel and Jackie Black, Tommy Black, Robert Stevens, Roger Stevens;

Grandchildren, Natasha Black, Temeka Hampton (Daniel Hampton), Shon Stevens, Donovan (Jock) Black, Shaniqua Stevens, Brandon Talford, Kaitlin Stevens, Camryn Stevens, Josh Tillman, Joseph Tillman;

Fifteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Madisonville. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with the Rev. James Wilkes and Apostle Jerry Upton officiating.
