Clarence “Allen” Dodd, of Madisonville, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019, at Madisonville Health and Rehab. He was a member of Tellico Masonic Lodge #80, and a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was 80 years old.

Preceded in death by: his son, Dewayne Dodd; parents, Clarence and Edna Dodd; sister, Bertha McKee; nephew, Mike Dodd.

Survivors include: his wife, Carolyn S. Dodd;

Stepchildren and their spouses, Lana and Buddy Smith, Randall and Sandra Cooper;

Brothers and sister-in-law, Bill and Henrietta Dodd, Danny Dodd;

Several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family received friends from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Madisonville. A masonic service followed at 6:45 p.m, provided by Tellico Masonic Lodge #80. The funeral service followed at 7 p.m. in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with the Rev. John Butler officiating. Interment was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Sweetwater Valley Memorial Park, with military honors provided by V.F.W. Post 5156, D.A.V. 93 and American Legion Post 93.
