Nellie Jean Cook Henry, age 81, of Madisonville, widow of Frank Hershel Henry, passed away on Sunday morning, Jan. 5, 2020, at her home.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Sam and Aline Cook; sister, Margaret Williams; and brothers, Ted, Fred, Jimmy and Robert Cook.
Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, William H. (Billy) and Sandra Henry, of Madisonville;
Daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Terry Spencer, of Ellijay, Georgia;
Grandchildren, Michael Cagle, Carssia and Scottie Cunningham, of Madisonville, Jarred Graves, of Tellico Plains, Tasha and Matt Moser, of Cleveland, and Leslie Spencer, of Mullins, West Virginia;
Great-grandchildren, Jayden Cagle, Aiden Cunningham, of Madisonville, and Gunner Cunningham, of Altoona, Pennsylvania;
Brothers, Jack Cook and William C. Cook;
Sister-in-law, Wanda Cook; Brother-in-law, R.C. Williams;
Special friends, John Isbill and Chris Isbill, of Madisonville.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Madisonville. The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. in the Biereley-Hale Chapel with Rev. Chris Gee officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens.
