Lucy Millsaps Cline, widow of Fate Cline, of Vonore, passed away peacefully at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at Madisonville Health & Rehab. She was a long-time, faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

She was 97 years and 10 months old.

Preceded in death by: her infant daughter, Lorine Cline; parents, Rance and Vina Patton Millsaps; sisters, Vada Haynes, Bessie Dotson, Elizabeth Millsaps, Estie Pilkington; brothers, Roscoe, Alfred (Bill) and Pink Millsaps; special great-niece, Shannon King.

Survivors include: her sister, Lula King of Vonore;

Special nephew and spouse, Jim and Allene King of Sweetwater;

Special great-niece, Jeannie King Burchfield;

Several other nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Madisonville. The funeral followed at 8 p.m. in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with the Rev. Barney Tipton and the Rev. Chad Schaffer officiating. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
