Mrs. Grace Berry Ingram, of Lilburn, Ga., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. She was born on Nov. 28, 1925, in Sweetwater. Mrs. Ingram lived in Sweetwater for most of her life, moving to Georgia to live with family in 2013. She worked at the Lace Plant, Beaunit, and retired from Gemtron.
Mrs. Ingram was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church in Sweetwater, and attended Decatur Heights Baptist Church in Georgia. Mrs. Ingram loved to quilt and work in the yard with garden and flowers, and spend time with her family.
She was 93 years old.
Mrs. Ingram is preceded in death by: her first husband, Fred L. Berry; second husband, Roy Ingram.
She is survived by: her sister, Mrs. Florence Robertson;
Sons, Fred M. Berry and wife, Alice, Lincoln Kyle Berry and wife, Barbara;
Granddaughters, Darlene Smith (Michael), Angie Watkins (Fred);
Great-grandchildren, Russell Doyle, Andrew Smith, Ashley Owen (John), Katelyn Watkins, Jessica Watkins;
Several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family were received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019, at Kyker Funeral Home in Sweetwater. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Sweetwater Memorial Park, with the Rev. Mark Latham officiating. Flowers may be sent to Kyker Funeral Homes in Sweetwater.
