Emily Elizabeth Barger

Emily Elizabeth Barger went to be with Jesus Tuesday night, June 24, at Children’s Hospital in Knoxville, with cancer. Emily was the 2008 Children’s Network Champion for the State of Tennessee.

She was 7.

Survivors include: parents-Misty and Brian Barger;

Sisters-Blair and Megan;

Grandparents Linda and Walt Thomas and Wanda and Ben Barger of Madisonville; and Ronald Shaw of Tellico Plains;

Great-grandparents-Geneva Bivens and Helen Tate Shaw of Madisonville; and Elmo Shaw of Kansas.

Friends and family met at 2:45 p.m., Friday, June 27, at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens for interment service. Dr. Phil Young officiated. Memorials may be sent to the Barger family c/o Salem Baptist Church, 8201 Hill Road, Knoxville, TN 37938.
