Jerry Mason Boring (June 26, 2009) Jerry Mason Boring of Madisonville, passed away at 7:40 a.m., Friday, June 26, at Wood Presbyterian Home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Madisonville, where she was a member of the Hope Sunday School class. She loved all of her many special friends deeply. She was an avid cook who enjoyed sharing it with others. She was formerly employed at Oak Ridge National Laboratory Y-12 plant as a supervisor and was office manager for many years for Dr. H.M. McGuire. She was 88. Preceded in death by: husband, Norman S. Boring; parents, Mose and Nellie Mae Mason; sisters, Virgie Miller and Billie Harbison; and brothers, Alton (Tom) and Ted Mason. Survivors include: daughter-Nancy Lloyd of Sweetwater; Son and daughter-in-law-Scott and Cathy Boring of Madisonville; Grandchildren and spouse-Sandy and Susan Lloyd of Sweetwater; and Catie and Mason Boring, both of Madisonville; Great-grandchildren-Jackson, Kendall and Sadie Belle Lloyd, all of Sweetwater; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Saturday, at First Baptist Church of Madisonville, with Dr. Lon Shoopman officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m., Sunday, at New Hope Cemetery, Body will lie in-state at the church one hour before the service. Friends may call at their convenience after 1 p.m., Saturday, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or the First Baptist Church of Madisonville.
