A.J. Ezell (Jack) of Athens, passed away at 4:07 p.m., Monday, June 29, at his home.

He was 67.

Preceded in death by: parents, Tom and Emma Burchfield Ezell; an infant sister; and brothers, Edward Rufus, Jim and John Ezell; one niece; three nephews.

Survivors include: sisters and brothers-in-law-Arminda Chastain of Athens; Minnie and Howard Evans of Athens; Myrtle Sue Audson of Cleveland; Lula May and Harl Russell, Alma Jean Lovingood and Irene and Bob Thompson, all of Sweetwater; Churchill Lindsey of Mississippi; and Edna Thompson of Philadelphia;

Brother-Cecil Ezell of Philadelphia;

Stepmother-Nellie Lovingood of Tellico Plains;

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel with the Rev. Barry Lee officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m., before the funeral. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
