Leatrice Marie West

Leatrice Marie West of Sweetwater, departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Sweetwater Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was a long-time member of Mt. Bethel Church in Sweetwater, where she served in the choir and on the Usher Board. She was a former employee of Sweetwater Flower Shop.

She was 74.

Preceded in death by: parents Otis Kline and Velma West; brother, Tommy West; nephews, Brian and Charlie West; aunt, Ida Belle Brown.

Survivors include; brother and sisters-in-law-Jimmy and Carolyn West and Betty Carson, all of Madisonville;

Nieces and spouse-Nadine and Renaldo Jones, Cheryl, Kim, Stephanie, Shayla, Taurean and Pia West;

Nephews-Gregory, Terrance, William, Jimmy West Jr.;

Several great-nieces and great-nephews;

Aunt-Marie Cozart of Sweetwater;

Special cousins-Charles, James, Harold and Doris Kline;

Special friends-Jo Anne Fike, Letha Oggs, Janie Davis, Daisy Kelso and Louise Hardin;

A host of other friends and all of the Mt. Bethel Church family.

The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, where the family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27 with the funeral to follow in Kyker's Chapel, with Elder Lloyd Jones officiating. Interment to follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park. Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements.
