James Arlin Presley (Oct. 31, 2009) James Arlin (Jim) Presley of Tellico Plains, passed away at
12:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, at UT Medical Center. He was 54. Preceded in death by: parents, Dewey Arlin and Jewel Dean
Bivens Presley. Survivors include: wife-Karen Lee Presley; Daughter and son-in-law-Melanie Bernice and Julian Pina of
Madisonville; Sons and daughters-in-law-James Arlin (Jamie) and Crystal
Presley of Tellico Plains; and Adam and Charlotte Presley of Madisonville; Stepson and significant other-Nathan Patterson and Dee Ann
Kelley of Knoxville; Grandchildren-Joshua, Nathan and Cecily Carroll, Scottie,
Brook and A.J. Presley, Chelsea Julianna Pina and Kyleigh Patterson; Sisters-Tracy Rogers of North Carolina; Barbara Browder and
Teresa Jones, both of Madisonville; Sophia Strohl of Indiana; Fledia Presley of
Tellico Plains; and Janice Fritts of Cleveland; Brothers-Marvin, Tony and Dewey Jr. Presley, all of Tellico
Plains; and Affanie Presley of Etowah; Several nieces and nephews; Father-in-law and mother-in-law-Carl and Mary Lee of
Englewood; Mother of his children-Bernice Hollandsworth of
Madisonville. Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Tuesday, in Biereley-Hale
Chapel with Rev. Walter Harold Bivens officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m.,
Wednesday, at Chestua Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8
p.m., before the funeral. Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville, in charge
