Mike Watson

Mike Watson of Scottsboro, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Southern Tennessee Medical Center. He was retired from Revere Copper and Brass and played football at Carosn-Newman College in Jefferson City.

He was 62.

Preceded in death by: parents, Glen and Jean Watson; grandparents, Walter and Leona Watson and William and Gladys Raby.

Survivors include: wife-Marty Watson of Scottsboro;

Daughters-Melanie Watson of Atlanta; and Ashley Watson of Burlington, Vt.;

Son and daughter-in-law-Jack and Julie Curry of Marengo, Ill.;

Granddaughter-Taylor Curry of Marengo;

Sister and brother-in-law-Glenda and Dewayne Mason of Tellico Plains;

Brother and sister-in-law-Tim and Susan Watson of Tellico Plains;

Several nieces and nephews, aunt and uncles and a host of hunting and fishing buddies and friends;

Eight loving cats.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at New Providence Baptist Church, 451 Providence Road, Tellico Plains, with the Rev. Fred Tate officiating.
