(Last modified: 2008-06-06 08:32:37) Ashley Bell of Madisonville, a first-year student at Maryville College, was named the recipient of two awards during the College’s Leadership Awards Ceremony held April 29 in the College’s Alumni Gymnasium. Bell received the Residence Hall Association’s (RHA) “First-Year Experience” Award, which is given to a first-year student who has gotten the most involved with RHA/Hall Council and made a difference for first-year residence halls. She was also presented the Outstanding Service Award by the Global Citizenship Organization, which aims to promote intercultural exchange between multicultural students, faculty and staff on Maryville College campus and raise cultural tradition awareness amongst the Maryville College community.
