(Last modified: 2008-06-30 08:41:36) The United States Achievement Academy announced recently that Scott Bowers of Madisonville, has been recognized by the USAA as a student of excellence in science. Scott Bowers, who attends Madisonville Middle School, was nominated for this honor by Stephanie Lane, a teacher at the school. Scott will have his name appear in the United States Achievement Academy’s Official Yearbook, which is published nationally. “Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important than ever before in America’s history. Certainly, USAA winners should be congratulated and appreciated for their dedication to excellence and achievement,” said Dr. George Stevens, executive director of the USAA.
