The Monroe County Beer Board approved a license for the Riverstone Grill during a quick meeting Monday.

No one was present to protest the license. Neither Sheriff Bill Bivins nor County Clerk Larry Anderson found anything in owner James Ogle’s background that would have led to grounds to deny the license.

Riverstone Grill is located on the Cherohala Skyway, just outside of Tellico Plains in the building that previously held the Bistro.
