The Dean's List for the 2009 spring semester has been announced by administrators of Maryville College, and five students from Monroe County were among those meeting requirements for the academic distinction.

Qualification for the Dean's List includes a grade point average of at least 3.6 in all work undertaken with no grade below a "C." Only full-time students are considered for the Dean's List.

The following students from Monroe County were named to the Dean's List: Eamon Felton, the son of James and Sabrina Felton of Madisonville and a 2009 graduate of Maryville College; Hope Marlow, the daughter of Edward and Julia Marlow of Sweetwater; M. Cody Rodefer, the son of Gary and Mary Rodefer of Madisonville; Mandy Seiler, the daughter of John and Jeni Seiler of Sweetwater; and Page Sloan, the daughter of Garry and Rebecca Sloan of Madisonville.
