The Chattanooga woes continued for the Sequoyah Chiefs on Friday night. Not only did they, and the fans, have to battle an incredible mosquito infestation at Howard High School, the Hustlin’ Tigers were a handful for the Chiefs on the field as well. Everything that could go wrong did and when the dust and bugs cleared the Chiefs came back north on the wrong end of a 49-0 score.

The loss gives the Chiefs a region record of 1-3 and an overall of 5-3. With all 3 losses being on the road in Chattanooga.

Thank goodness the last two regular season games are at home with almost must-win situations for playoff hopes. This Friday night they host East Ridge as SQHS celebrates Homecoming and the following Friday they finish the season off with Anderson County on Senior Night.
