Former Sweetwater Wildcat gridiron stars Sam Brown and Terence Cleveland will serve as camp leaders, along with Clyde Rudolph, who played football at the University of Kentucky.
Campers will also receive instruction from other former notable players including Bruce Wilkerson, Harry Galbreath, Reggie Cobb, and Eric Westmorland among others.

All four played at the University of Tennessee and Galbreath recently was named to the strength and conditioning staff for the football program there.
According to Rudolph, these players have all committed to come back this year.
One former player that is expected to help with the camp is Tee Martin, the former UT quarterback that helped lead the Vols to the 1998 national championship.

The camp will be divided into two groups and those groups are determined by the ages of the campers.
Players that are 7-12 years old will attend camp June 23-24. The cost for that age group will be $75.
Campers that are 13-18 years old will attend camp June 25-27. The cost for them will be $125.
All sessions will be held at the Sweetwater Recreation Center football field.
Players of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.

Besides working with former college and pro standouts, the athletes will receive instruction at their specific position groups and will learn from players that have played the position.
The younger campers will focus more on sharpening and developing the skills needed to play football.
The older players will split time between conditioning drills and drills to work on the finer points of football.

The camp falls during the TSSAA’s designated dead period for fall sports, a time when teams are not allowed to conduct organized workouts or use school facilities to practice.
Last year’s camp fell at the same time and provided many of the high school players the opportunity to maintain their conditioning.

There will be two more opportunities to register for the camp.

Registration will be held on Friday, June 13 from 5-7 p.m. at the S.R.C.
The last chance to sign up will be the following day, June 14 from noon-2 p.m. at the same location.
For more information about the camp, call 865-215-7257. You may also contact Brown by e-mail at sambrown@cityofknoxville.org or Rudolph at clrud27@yahoo.com.
