Get With It success stories

Here at Get With It we have been blessed to have so many wonderful ladies working out, learning about their health, forming new friendships, incorporating good lifestyle changes, and having a great time while doing it. Take a look at how the Get With It program has impacted the lives of these women:

“After being a part of Get With It for almost five months, it’s hard to remember what our lives (my entire family) were like without it. The education I’ve received has benefited all of us in a positive way. My husband is steadily losing weight and getting healthier. Our son is constantly talking about health and making good choices, and I’m averaging one pound per week lost.”

“I enthusiastically encourage all women to take advantage of everything Get With It has to offer. You don’t have anything to lose. (except weight!).” Amanda Satterfield

“I’m a big girl — very out of shape. I have knee and hip pain. I have a lot more movement since I’ve been exercising. All our trainers make us old ladies feel good in more ways than just exercise.” Sally Hall

“Get With It has been the best thing that I have ever done for myself. I have always been considered to be in the obese category and very inactive. Everyone that really knew me before I started this wonderful program knows that I never truly smiled. I was always upset and being obese was the main cause.” Now here I am with 2 1/2 inches off my waist, 5 1/2 total, and two pant sizes smaller within 3 1/2 weeks! I also see more muscle tone. I have more energy. Plus in the past 3 1/2 weeks I don’t remember one day going by without a smile on my face.” Ashton Kilpatrick, age 15

“The free aerobics classes have given this ‘late 40’s’ woman a lot to be thankful for! By doing aerobics five or six days a week and changing my eating habits, I’ve been able to shed 20 inches and 17 pounds in six months. I’ve still got a long way to get to a healthy size, but I can count on the GetWith It Women program to be there for me and all the other women of Monroe County.” Linda Ford
