Madisonville Youth Football Sign-ups

Madisonville Sports & Civics Club will be holding sign-ups for both football and cheerleading on June 28, from 8 a.m. - noon at Kefauver Football Field. Limited spots are available.

All first year participants need to bring a copy of their birth certificate. The fee is $40 per child or $80 per family.

Tellico Plains Basketball Camp

Tellico Plains’ “Fundamentals of Basketball” camp will be held July 7, 8, 10, and 11 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the Tellico Plains Junior High School gym.

The camp is for boys and girls enter grades four through eight. The camp cost $35, and $25 for each additional sibling.

The camp will teach players dribbling, shooting, passing, and defensive skills while also allowing the campers to put those skills to use with 3-on-3, 4-on-4, and 5-on-5 games.

Each camper will receive a t-shirt, an evaluation sheet, and a list of drills to practice at home.

Aaron Green Basketball Camp

University of Tennessee assistant basketball coach Aaron Green will host his annual camp at Hiwassee College July 14-17.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-15. Camp cost is $75 if pre-registered and $85 at the door.
