Former Sweetwater High School softball and basketball standout Hannah West signed papers to play softball for the Cleveland State Lady Cougars on Monday morning. West is the fourth Lady Wildcat from this year’s senior class to sign to play softball in college and will join Casey Newton at Cleveland State. West earned All-District honors while helping lead Sweetwater to the District 5-AA regular season and tournament championship. Joining West are her parents, Sweetwater coaches Angie Best and Eric Weaver, and Cleveland State coaches Suzanne Bayne and Katie Willingham.
