A Loudon man was killed Friday night when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Ball Play Road.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported a pickup truck driven by Roscoe L. Harrod, 53, of Madisonville was turning right from Ball Play Road onto Rocky Springs in Madisonville shortly before 7 p.m. as John C. Adams, 38, Loudon, attempted to pass the truck on the right "at an excessive speed." The motorcycle struck the truck's right front tire.
Harrod was not injured. No charges were filed in the wreck.
