MADISONVILLE-A trial date has been set for a Tellico Plains area couple in connection with the death of a woman in March.

Kimberly Sue Ricker and Wayne Clarence Jones had a trial date of June 25, 2013 set last week. Any motions their legal might wish to make will be heard in court Jan. 28.

The two were arrested after Mary Shaw, 79, died on March 10, several days after she had reportedly been abused so badly by Rickers, 44, that she ended up in Woods Hospital in Etowah. Authorities said Ricker is also known by the names Jones, Maddox, Mitchell and Chastain.
