SWEETWATER-Not everyone was thankful Thursday night as Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Russell spent part of it figuring out who fired shots and pulled out a knife at a house just outside of Sweetwater.

Russell said it was around 8:15 p.m. when he went to the Mountain View Road home and talked to Randy Brewster, who said he had been at a redlight in Sweetwater when David Martin and Melissa Standridge pulled up beside him.
