Katie Goins portrays Mary in a live nativity scene, at the annual Tellico Plains Candlelight Walk on Saturday. 

First Baptist Church in Tellico Plains created the live nativity, with real animals. Also at the Candlelight Walk, visitors could visit downtown shops, have their picture taken with the Grinch and Santa Claus, take a horse and buggy ride through the streets, pick up treats in the Cookie Caper, listen to live music, and more. The annual event is sponsored by the Cherokee Women's Club.
