MADISONVILLE-A member of Alabama
law enforcement who was charged with kidnapping a Monroe County man last September had charges
against him dismissed Tuesday.
Ronald Pate was indicted last
October on charges of aggravated assault and kidnapping after he was reported to have confronted a
man who got lost while bear hunting.
While the victim and law
enforcement officials were preparing for a trial in the near future, state prosecutor Jim Stutts
