The Tennessee Department of Health has released its latest statistics related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

As of 3 p.m. Monday, Tennessee has compiled a total of 18,011 confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 301 fatalities. A total of 337,428 tests have been completed so far.

Monroe County has seen an increase in the number of cases in the past week, now sitting at 49 confirmed cases out of 788 tests. Of those with confirmed cases, 24 have recovered, while one has died.

Monroe shares a border with the following affected counties: McMinn (123 cases); Loudon (94); Polk (14); Blount (76).

The Tennessee counties with 100 or more reported cases are Bedford (254); Bledsoe (607); Davidson (4,066); Hamilton (357); Hardeman (183); Knox (308); Lake (404); Madison (163); McMinn (123); Montgomery (213); Putnam (240); Robertson (294); Rutherford (884); Shelby (3,846); Sumner (749); Tipton (405); Trousdale (1,383); Williamson (480); and Wilson (327).
