DENSO donates face shields to Chota

DENSO Manufacturing has joined efforts to combat the COVID-19 crisis across the North American region. One example of their multiple efforts include the production and distribution of face shields to protect local health care workers. Chota Community Health Services recently received 100 of these face shields from the DENSO facility in Maryville. With a limited normal personal protective equipment supply, these face shields are vital in the efforts of Chota to continue to provide COVID-19 testing and quality health care to the community. Included with the shipment of face shields, there was also a note of encouragement signed by Bob Booker, senior manager of corporate services at DENSO, that read, “We appreciate the wonderful, life-saving services you are providing our community especially in this time of critical need. We hope we are able to provide some support to you. Thank you from all of us at DENSO. Our prayers are that you and your family will be well.” Chota officials said they are appreciative of the donation from DENSO, which will help to protect employees and patients, but also encouraged them as they continue to serve on the frontlines of this pandemic.
