The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed a jailer charged with DUI and possession of a weapon while under the influence after a traffic stop in Loudon County recently is no longer employed with the department.

According to a Loudon County’s Sheriff’s Office incident report, Michael Cameron Foister, 21, was pulled over on Dec. 5 after he was allegedly clocked driving 122 mph on Interstate 75 near the Sugar Limb Exit.

Officer Jerramie Brown’s report said Foister’s car had a strong odor of alcohol coming from it and that the suspect said he had drunk three shots of Mechanical Bull and three beers at the Cotton Eyed Joe. Brown said Foister performed poorly on a field sobriety test and would later register a 0.10 on a blood-alcohol test.

Brown’s report also stated a Glock .380 gun was found in Foister’s car.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said Foister is no longer employed there, but did not go into specifics.
