Six people were arrested June 16 after a drug investigation culminated at a house on Ridge Road outside of Madisonville.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Narcotics Agent Dalton Rinehart said he and other officers went to the home to serve a search warrant and, when they arrived, Vonore Police Lt. Cory Fritts saw Josh Ray McLemore trying to run from the residence.

Rinehart said McLemore was caught before he could get away, but Fritts had seen him take something from the living room before he ran. McLemore was asked if he had anything illegal on him, including weapons. He said he didn’t.

A search was done of McLemore then and something was reportedly found in the left pocket of his shorts. McLemore was asked to remove the item and he did, showing a corner baggie with a substance in it believed to be meth.

A further search of McLemore turned up another bag of suspected meth, several pills believed to be Oxycodone and two bags of a brown powder which field tested as Heroin. He was also found to have burnt aluminum foil and a cut straw on him.

Rinehart got “excited” and declared there was a gun in the house that belonged to him, but there weren’t any bullets in it. Rinehart said the gun was located in the house and bullets for it were found in a car in the driveway.

Rinehart said when officers entered the house, they found Terry Allen Lee, the owner of the house, in a rear bedroom.

After being read his rights, Rinehart said Lee stated he had a “20 bag” of meth in the bathroom and drug paraphernalia in his bedroom.

Officers looked and located the items where Lee said he had them.

Also in the house, Rinehart said, was Daniel Carlie McEachern IV, who had a backpack with alleged drug paraphernalia in it.

Jeremy Thomas McKee who had a bag with two foils containing suspected Heroin.

Melissa Mckee (Harris) was charged after officers allegedly found meth and drug paraphernalia no one else would claim.
