Helping out those in need at Christmas

Shown here are Christmas food baskets being assembled by the Ballplay/Tellico Ruritan Club. The club accepted names of families that needed a bit of help at Christmas time. The club financed the majority of the costs and the shopping for the food, but were greatly assisted by donations from Walmart and UGO in Madisonville and from Food City in Vonore. Shown here are (from left) Charles Kirkland, Joe Leta, Sue Leta, Kristi Jones and John Bearlepp getting the baskets ready.
