American Legion Post 256 supports National Wreaths Across America Day

You may have recently seen American Legion Post 256 members participating in collecting monies at a local business near you. The money collected will support the efforts on Dec. 17, which is National Wreaths Across America Day. An organization called the same has a mission to “Remember, Honor and Teach” by coordinating veteran wreath-laying ceremonies at the Knoxville National Cemetery, Arlington National Cemetery, as well as more than 3,400 additional locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad. Pictured, from left to right, are Bruce Blodgett, Linda Ullom, Frank Pinto and Bob Ullom during one of the donation drives. The American Legion appreciates all local patriots who donated — because of your support, a wreath will be placed on a veteran’s gravesite.
