Martha Sue Harris, age 67, widow of Clifford Wayne (Bad Eye) Harris, of Madisonville, passed away at 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, at Sweetwater Hospital. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, singing and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Boone and Eula Beavers Abercrombie; sisters, Mary Ann Rich, and Vera Abercrombie; brother, Charles (Buddy) Abercrombie; and one infant brother.
Survivors include: her daughters and son-in-law, Sherry and Gary Floyd, and Patty Lund;
Son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lesa Abercrombie;
Stepsons, David and Winston Harris;
Stepdaughter, Renee Harris;
Grandchildren, Mary Evans, Daniel Roberts, Chris Roberts, and Steven Abercrombie;
Four great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters;
Sisters, Frankie Brown, Lisa Abercrombie, and Joan Buckner;
Brothers, Joey Abercrombie, and Johnny Abercrombie.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Madisonville. The funeral will follow at 8 p.m. in the Biereley-Hale Chapel with Rev. Frank Hicks officiating.
Interment will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens.
