FOOTBALL SCarolina vs UT

UT’s Jarrett Guarantano (2) fires a pass out to the flat against South Carolina. Guarantano was 11 of 19 passing for 229 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Vols' 41-21 win at Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee’s hot recruiting streak doesn’t appear to be cooling anytime soon.

The Vols recently picked up another group of commitments, including two on Sunday, to add to their 2021 class, which is currently ranked No. 2 in the country.

Four-star quarterback Kaidon Salter committed to Tennessee Sunday. A dual-threat signal caller from Texas, he is ranked as the No. 10 dual-threat quarterback in the country by the 247Sports Composite.

Four-star linebacker Aaron Willis out of Baltimore also committed to the Vols Sunday. The 247Sports Composite lists him as the No. 9 outside linebacker nationally. He was committed to Virginia Tech until April 2019.

Willis followed the lead of his teammate at Baltimore’s St. Frances Academy, four-star defensive tackle KaTron Evans, who committed to Tennessee on Saturday. He’s the No. 9 defensive tackle nationally in the 247Sports Composite.

Four-star defensive tackle Dominic Bailey, a former teammate of Evans and Willis at St. Frances, signed with the Volunteers as part of the 2020 class. He has already enrolled at Tennessee.

The Vols’ 2021 class is currently the top-ranked recruiting class in the Southeastern Conference.
